Walking Bridge

A new pedestrian bridge now spans the Mohawk River and links the Erie Canal Recreationway trail from Bellamy Harbor Park to Fort Stanwix.  The 220-foot bridge has a 12-foot-wide timber deck to provide bicyclers, walkers and joggers east entry to the park from the Whitesboro Street entrance.  The bridge is lit at dark to allow for 24 hour use.
