Description:
Delta Lake State Park is located on a peninsula extending into Delta Reservoir. You’ll find the terrain is wooded and generally flat. Year-round visitors can enjoy the day in one of many picnic areas, or on one of the many hiking and nature trails. There is also a boat launch and shoreline fishing for trout, pike, bass, bullhead and perch. Campers can enjoy 101 tent, trailer or RV camping sites and there is a sandy beach with swimming in the summer. For winter visitors there are cross-country ski trails.

The RFA Freshman Baseball team consists of 8th and 9th graders from the Strough Middle School and Rome Free Academy High School located in Rome, NY. I am very excited about the 2008 Season, and wish the boys much success. To be successful they must commit to hard work and teamwork.

Description:
I am excited to return to the RFA Baseball program for a 2nd year as the Black Modified Coach. The past year was outstanding in terms of the commitment, talent, and level of play. I am very certain that this year will be no different.
At the modified level I try to instill a sense of pride in the up and coming players, while improving on individual and team skills. Success at this level will be measured on improvement from game to game, not by wins and losses. Each year the program has made great strides to become better.
With only four returnees from last year's 12-2 squad, the upcoming class has some pretty big shoes to fill. I have no doubt that this years squad will work just as hard as the last years team.
I would like to wish the rest of the RFA Baseball teams Good Luck and have a great season. Thanks to the Dugout Club for all of their support!

Rome Hatchery is located in Oneida County about four miles north of the City of Rome. The hatchery is one of DEC's largest, with annual production totaling nearly 160,000 pounds of brook and brown trout and, when available, kokanee salmon. Hatchery staff play a major role in providing fish for airplane and helicopter stocking of remote waters. |

Description:
Welcome to RFA Baseball for the 2008 Season. Coach Mike Davis takes over the Head Coaching duties for '08. The off season workouts went well, running and weight conditioning programs were well attended. A strong returning pitching staff will be the strength of the team,led by senior Garrett Baker, who is headed to Western Carolina on a Div. 1 scholarship. Kyle Richardson. Mike Stevens , and Ryan Harris add to a strong starting staff. Baker,Richardson, and Josh Seaton were choosen Captains for '08,and look for returners Mark Capponi, Rocco DeBlasiis, Zach Cicootti,and Ryan Popovich to help the Black Knights contend for a Section 3 title. |
