This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reimagine this neighborhood and forge new connections to Griffiss Business and Technology Park. These properties, totaling more than 100 acres between Floyd Ave and Park Drive, have plagued East Rome for two decades. Demolition of the Park Drive structures was completed in 2017, which opened the door to a spectrum of redevelopment opportunities. The City has partnered with MVEDGE and RIDC to begin the master planning and environmental review process with public input.
