Animal Control Building Open House

The City of Rome will be hosting an open house of the newly renovated Animal Control Building on Tuesday, August 22 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 725 Black River Boulevard.

The event will allow for an opportunity for the public to see the newly renovated building, in which 80-percent of the work was completed in house via city departments such as Department of Public Works, the Water Shop, Buildings and Grounds and Electrical Department.

Donations will be accepted during the open house. Animal Control is currently seeking donations for blankets, toys, ropes and chews for the dogs.
