Zoning Board of Appeals

Rome’s Zoning Board of Appeals, or ZBA, meets on the first Wednesday of each month, and only if a project application has been submitted and appears on the agenda. The City of Rome is divided into a number of zoning districts. Each district has prescribed ways in which the property can be used and development standards which govern how the property is built upon.

While City Hall is closed per COVID-19 guidelines, the public can call-in to the Zoning Board of Appeals meetings by using the information listed below. The meeting is audio only and meeting start time is at 6:30 p.m.
