De-O-Wain-Sta Mock Re-Dedication

The Fort Stanwix Chapter, NSDAR, will host a “Mock Re-Dedication” for the historic De-O-Wain-Sta bronze marker on February 27, 2025, prior to its installation and re-dedication, beneath the eagle, on June 30, 2025. What’s known as the De-O-Wain-Sta marker was commissioned and gifted to the city by the chapter and first dedicated on June 30, 1905. Guests will preview a new video on the history of  the marker and the Oneida Carry, commissioned by the chapter and produced by Austin Olney.
