Fright Night at Franklyn’s Field

The City of Rome will be hosting a Fright Night at Franklyn’s Field on Friday, October 27 from 6-9 p.m.

Weather permitting, there will be an outdoor screening of Halloween town, sponsored by Rome Health. The movie will begin at 6:30 p.m. Those attending the movie are asked to bring their own blankets and chairs.

Local organizations will hand out candy as part of a Trick-or-Treat Street. Jervis Library will be giving away books and there will be a photo booth station, where attendees can submit their photos taken at the event for the City’s costume contest on the City’s Facebook Page. The photo with the most likes, or votes, will be announced Monday, October 30, along with the Halloween Decorating Contest winner.

There will be music prior to the movie as well as food trucks available for food and drink purchases. Admission to the movie and Trick-or-Treat Street is free.
