There’s no place like Rome for the Holidays!
The City of Rome will be hosting another community-wide Decorating contest for homes decked for the holidays. The entry period to submit will begin on December 1 and run until December 21. Voting will begin December 22 to December 27 with the winners announced on the City’s Facebook page December 30.
Participants must reside in the city limits and only the exteriors of homes will qualify. Voting will be based on four categories: Most Festive, Most Creative, Classiest and Best Overall and will be rated on a “0-5” scale. There will also be a People’s Choice Award, where the community can vote for their favorite via a Google Form submission.
A map will be created of the participating properties and will be shared on the City’s social media pages on December 22. The link for the People’s Choice Award will also be posted on the City’s Facebook page the same day.
The winner will be featured on our social media pages and will be asked to judge next year’s contest.
